Friday, September 26

We've had a busy week here at Heritage Academy! Our friends, Rochester family, stopped in and spend the night Tuesday night, then joined us for See You At The Pole on Wednesday. They didn't get to stay long, but it was good to have them here! Today is Mrs. Brenda's birthday! Mrs. Cindy McDaniel made a birthday cake and we all enjoyed that at breaktime. We went to lunch at Ryan's, then toured the Renasant Bank downtown. We have many more exciting things coming up at Heritage Academy in the coming months, so stay tuned! Brianna Rochester :) It was her 6th birthday!!
The oldest Rochester daughter, Mary Beth

September 23

We are loving the cooler weather! The students love to be outside playing whenever possible now that the temperature is not nearly as hot as it was this summer. Sorry about the lack of new posts lately. Miss Cari's computer has crashed, and adding new pictures is a challenge. Hopefully it will be fixed soon! :-)

Our parking lot is nearly fixed! Yay! Friday the students will be going to Ryan's and also to the Bank for a tour! Friday is also Mrs. Brenda's birthday :) Also, on October 10 is our Chess tournament and Mr. Caleb's birthday. October 11 is our carry-out spaghetti dinner fundraiser. The students have tickets available for $10 each. The money will go toward helping the students 13+ with their convention registration costs, and also fuel for the trip.

Also coming up is our photography campout. The date is not set yet, but we will let everyone know soon.

September 8...

Back to school again!

We had a great field trip last Friday! After lunch at Hardee's, we went to the Library, where the students checked out books to research for project & reports, and also to read for book reports! Gotta get that done to be on Gold privilege! :-) This week is a short week, since Mrs. Brenda, Miss Cari, and Mr. Caleb will be leaving for cousin Brooke's wedding on Wednesday morning. There will be no school on Friday the 12th or Monday the 15th. Miss Cari will post pictures soon, her laptop is out of commission at the time being.

Heritage Heartbeat August 29, 2008

We had a lot of fun on our field trip Friday! The students enjoyed eating at Las Margaritas and getting a "mexican coke" to drink :) After our lunch, we went to Pontotoc to the Post Office museum. It was very interesting! The museum curator was very informative on the early history of Mississippi and Pontotoc. We even saw some dinosaur bones!
